I AM ART: The Redline joins the 2026 DocuSlate lineup
NewFilmmakers Los Angeles lists I AM ART: The Redline as a U.S. premiere in its official DocuSlate lineup, as reported by Deadline. The festival runs November 12–15, 2026, in Los Angeles.
NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) has announced the lineup for its 2026 DocuSlate Documentary Film Festival, listing I AM ART: The Redline with a U.S. premiere designation. Deadline’s documentary editor Matthew Carey reported the official lineup on October 21, 2026. The designation is attributed to NFMLA’s published lineup; the film previously screened in New York at Urbanworld on October 15, 2026.
The festival runs November 12–15, 2026, in Los Angeles. Its lineup includes seven film programs, 12 documentary shorts and five documentary features, alongside filmmaker Q&A sessions, industry engagement opportunities and two virtual panels.
Directed by Terry Dillard Jr. and executive produced by Ian Swain, I AM ART: The Redline follows artist and educator Blu Murphy. Her portraits of students place them inside the history of redlining and its legacy, bringing art, education and lived experience into the same frame.
Deadline reports that festival screenings begin November 12 at Cinelounge Sunset Theater in Hollywood, continue November 13, and conclude with a full day of programming November 15 at South Park Center in Downtown Los Angeles. These are festival-wide details; the Redline screening date, time and ticket information will be shared when confirmed.
